Although I have only recently met Helen and our relationship was brief, I knew her to be a gracious and gentle woman. May she rest in peace. Respectfully,

I will always remember Helen, her graciousness, her kindness, and her willingness to help anyone who asked for her assistance. She was such a lovely woman, and we will all miss her greatly.

As a genealogy friend, I will always remember Helen's willingness to help anyone who needed assistance with their Polish research. Since she knew the Polish language, she helped many of us with translations to English, including me. It must be a small world, since I read here that her services were in Duryea, PA, where I once went to get information about those of Polish descent who are buried in the cemetery there. It is a beautiful area and I think Helen would be happy to be back.

Helen will be remembered for her love of her Polish heritage, and her gracious help to all those asking for her help in Polish genealogical research. Her membershipship and participationn in the Polish Genealogical Society of California were a wonderful gift for all of us. She was an invaluable resource for all of our members. We will miss her smile and wit. We are the poorer for her leaving us.
