Dorothy McNulty, age 90, a resident of the Scranton Health Care in the Minooka Section of Scranton, formerly of Hampton Street in West Scranton, died Friday morning at the Scranton Health Care.
Born in Scranton on July 7, 1914 she was the daughter of the late John and Johanna Miller McNulty.
She was educatd in Scranton Schools. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, West Scranton and a member of the church’s Society Of The Faithful
Dorothy was a very humble, generous and caring person.She was a great supporter of Catholic Education. She also cared for her parents, aunts, and brother in their final days.
She is survived by nephews, Dr. Richard McNulty, Lenexa, Kansas; Terence F. McNulty, West Hartford, Ct.; and Thomas P. McNulty, Windsor, Ct. A niece, Ann
Marie
Chesney, Westminster, Maryland. A sister-in-law Peggy McNulty, Newington, Ct. and several cousins including Grace Roe of Dickson City and Edith Zopfi of West Scranton and great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers ;Dr. Terence F. McNulty, Rev. Raymond J. McNulty, and Dr. Paul J. McNulty.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. from the Durkan-Cuff-Kearney Funeral Home, 125 North Main Avenue, West Scranton, with mass of the christian burial at 9:30 A.M. in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church , Jackson Street in West Scranton. Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 P.M.
