Bettie Jane Hull, age 69, of Plains, died Tuesday morning at home. She is survived by her husband Delbert W. Hull.They celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on September 29, 2004.
Born in Plains on November 24, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Hiram and Minnie Howells Yale, she resettled in Plains in 1994.Prior to that she resided in Miners Mills, Pa. She was educated in Plains Schools. She was of the protestant faith. Before her retirement she was employed by Techneglas Inc., Pittston Twp.
She loved her dog Penny II and her cat Muffin.
Also surviving are a son-Robert "Sam" Hull and his wife Doreen of Pittston Twp.Three brothers,
Hiram Yale of Louistown, Pa., Robert Yale of Wilkes Barre, and Roger Yale of New Jersey. 4 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 N. Main Street, Old Forge, with services by the Rev. William Frisk.Interment will be in Marcy Cemetery in Duryea. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 P.M.
