Charles (C.J.) King, age 34, of Avoca, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009, at home. Born on July 10, 1975, in Augusta, Georgia, son of the late Charles E. King, Sr., C.J. was an electrician for General Labor, a former firefighter and paramedic and a member of the Full Gospel Church in Avoca.
He is survived by his fiance, Susan Hutchins, with whom he resided, and her children; Matthew, Susan and Sarah Evans and Autumn Contrell.
Funeral services held on Saturday at 4PM in the Full Gospel Chapel, 1113 Main Street in Avoca, will be conducted by Rev. Wayne Mitchell, Pastor.
