Obituaries

Beverly Quimby, age 73, of Old Forge, passed away Tuesday morning at home. Born on December 3, 1935, in Warren, Vermont, Beverly was the daughter of the late Maurice and Cynthia Bashaw Quimby. Educated in Vermont Schools, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Earl Commins and wife Kathleen of Crescent City and siblings; brothers, Morris of Washington, Colin of White River Junction, and Raymond Quimby of Northfield and sister, Lorene Mercer of Texas, grandchildren; Andrea, Aidan, Ashley and Sequoia and two great-grandchildren; Gabriel and Dean.
Private arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.
