Obituaries

Robert Steven Carr, age 63, of Scranton, passed away Saturday at the VA Medical Center in Wilkes Barre. Born in Queens, New York, on January 17, 1946, son of the late Harry and Muriel Walsh Carr, Robert was educated at August Martin High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and prior to retirement, he was a truck driver. He was a member of the VFW Post 3451 of Scranton.
He is survived by his daughters; Nicole of Scranton and Livia of Hawaii, his three sisters; Janet Carr of the Hideout section of Lake Ariel, Della Bass and husband Joseph and Thora Carr, all of Ozone Park, New York, and four grandchildren.
Private funeral arrangements are under the care of the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton.
