Della (Zaladonis) Puzio of the Austin Heights Section of Old Forge passed away Friday evening at home. She was the widow of Joseph Puzio.He passed away April 24, 1975.
Born in Duryea she was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Rice Zaladonis. She was a graduate of Duryea High School. Before her retirement she was employed by the Local Garment Industry.Della was a member of St. Lawrence O’Toole Roman Catholic Church, Old Forge and was a lifelong member of the former St.Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church in Old Forge.
She is survived by her son Joseph Puzio, with whom she resided and a daughter,
Rita Doran and her husband Gerald of Old Forge.Two grandchildren Gerald and Michael Doran and a sister Rita Fischer of Duryea and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers Anthony, Casimar, and Dr. Joseph Zaladonis
Private funeral services will be conducted Wednesday from the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 N. Main Street, Old Forge with mass of the Christian Burial in St.Lawrence O’Toole Roman Catholic Church, Main Street in Old Forge. Interment was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Old Forge.Viewing will be private at the convenience of the family
