Earl Edward Huften, Jr., age 56, of Plains, passed away Tuesdayevening at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes Barre. Born in Paterson, New Jersey on October 12, 1952, son of the late Earl Edward, Sr., and Ruth Lillian Slack Huften. A graduate of Paterson High School, he had worked for Biscontini Warehouse.
Surviving are three siblings, a brother; Richard Huften and wife Debbie of Warwick, New York, and two sisters; Sharon Conklin and husband Jack and Ruth Ann Hufton, all of Wilkes Barre.
Private memorial services in the Moosic Methodist Church will be held at the convenience of the family.
