Michael Kuncio, of Pittston, died Friday evening at the Laurel Health & Rehab. Center, Kingston, where he was a patient for the past two months. He and his wife the former, Sylvia June Corrado, celebrated their 43rd Wedding Anniversary on May 27, 2004.
Born in Laflin, he was the son of the late Wasyl and Anna Hutsko Kuncio. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He attended the West Pittston High School. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the Cigar Factory, Wilkes-Barre and later by the Juvenile Products, Kingston.
He was a beloved Husband, Brother and Uncle and will be truly missed by all of his family and all who knew him.

Also surviving are Two sisters: Ann Goncheroski and Anastasia Golubiewski, both of Laflin. Several Nieces and Nephews
Many Cousins

He was preceded in death by Four brothers Nicholas Kuncio, John Kuncio, Pete Kuncio and Metro Kuncio, who was killed in WWII and two sisters Helen Kehoski and Mary Madison.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. from the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 North Main Street, Old Forge, with services by the Rev. David Brague, Pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church, Pittston. Interment will be in the West Pittston Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.

Military services will be conducted by the AMVETS Post 189, Dupont.
