Obituaries

Beatrice Campbell, age 92, a resident of Allied Skilled Nursing died Thursday at the Moses Taylor Hospital. She was the widow of Joseph Campbell who died in 1978.
Born on August 20, 1915 in Gerardsville she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Pavaltis Perlaitis.
She was educated in Gerardsville and Scranton Schools. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, West Scranton and its Society of the Faithful
She is survived by a son Edward Campbell of Scranton and
eight grandchildren,
sixteen great-grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. She raised two of her grandchildren from infants.
She was preceded in death by a son Joseph T. Campbell, Jr., two
brothers Frank and Anthony Perlaitis and three
sisters Margaret Perlaitis,
Mary Zipp and Anna Branscombe and a daughter-in-law-Christine Gaul Campbell
The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. from the Durkan-Cuff-Kearney Funeral Home, 125 N. Main Avenue West Scranton, with mass of the christian burial at 9:30 A.M. in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church Jackson Street in West Scranton. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 P.M.
