He listened to the daily mass on T.V., and he had a strong devotion to St. Theresa of the Little Flower. His family and friends were a joy and a comfort to him throughout his life. He had a sharp mind for figures and prided himself in his ability to always be able to balance his checkbook to the penny. He was heroic in his suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and keart ailments. He was exceptional in his ability to smile through all of his pain. To his family, he was an exemplar model to follow for the way he persevered and led his life. Everyone who knew him commented on his wonderful personality and remarked about his selflessness. He will be sadly missed. His beloved daughter, Abbey, preceded him in death in September, 2006.
