Obituaries

Charolette D. Richwalder, age 47, of Taylor, died Thursday while under the care of the Community Medical Center Hospice in Scranton. Born in Scranton on November 4, 1959, Charolette was the daughter of the late Richard and Ann Nicholls Bidwell. A graduate of West Scranton High School, she worked for Gerrity’s Market in Moosic.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise Richwalder of Duryea; and three brothers, Gene Bidwell of Scranton, Dave Bidwell of Melbourne, Florida, and Gene Bidwell of Brooklyn, New York.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald and Donald Bidwell.

A blessing service will be held Tuesday at 9:00am at the Durkan-Cuff-Kearney Funeral Home, 125 N. Main Avenue, Scranton, celebrated by Rev. Phillip A. Altavilla. Interment will be at the Fairview Memorial Park in Elmhurst. Public viewing hours will be on Monday between 5-8pm at the funeral home.
