Frank J. Woolley, 93, a guest of the Mountain View Care Center, Scranton, fomerly of West Scranton, died Wednesday evening at the center. He was the husband of the late Mary M. McGinty Woolley who died May 3, 1995.
Born on October 10, 1913 in Scranton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine Flanaghan Woolley. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII. Prior to retirement, he was the owner of the Hampton Inn, West Scranton. He also formerly served as manager for the former Ralph’s Market in Scranton. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, West Scranton, and was also a member of the Church’s Society of the Faithful. He was a member of both the Hampton Social Club and the West Scranton Senior Citizens.The family would like to thank the staff at the Mountain View Care Center and also VNA Hospice for their wonderful care.He is survived by his one daughter, Mary Ann Cerminaro and her husband Joseph, Scranton; a Son-In-Law, John Godek, Scranton; four granddaughters;Tami Hughes & her husband Mike, Lisa Cerminaro, Kim Styche and her husband Bill, and Karen Godek; three great-grandsons;two sister-in- law’s, Betty Shorten and her husband Jim and Agnes Charles and several nieces and nephews.Also preceding Frank in death were a daughter, Fran Godek; five brothers, Thomas, Edward, Joseph, Eugene, and Jerry; and a sister, Marie Murcero.The funeral will be Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Durkan-Cuff-Kearney Funeral Home, 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton, with Mass of the Christian Burial at 9:30 AM at the
