Obituaries

Doreen B. Small, 60, of Hanover Twp., passed away on Monday, at home.

Born December 19, 1963, in New York City, NY, daughter of Selassie Williams, New York City, and the late Marian Braithwaite.  A graduate of New York City Schools and New Rochelle College, where she earned her certificate as an administrative assistant.  Doreen was a member of Salvation Christian Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Surviving in addition to her father are: daughters, Nikki Small, and companion, Hugh Thompson, Sadequia Brown, and husband, Everyton, and Shanay Small, and companion, Phillip Holmes; grandchildren, Sanay, Jahnaya, Nyla, Danessa, Amaya, Phillip, Jahmeir, Sariya, and Enda; several niece and nephews.

Siblings, Alvin Braithwaite and Jacqueline Campbell-Bannister, preceded her in death.

A Home Going service will be held on Friday, April 19th, at noon in Salvation Christian Center,   130 S. Sherman Street, Wilkes-Barre Twp., with Rev. Patrice Powell and Bishop Ray Johnson, officiating.  Intement to follow in Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Dallas.  Relative and friends may pay their respects on Friday, April 19th, from 10 AM until the time of the service in the church.
