In loving memory of LoriAnn Shevlin:
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of LoriAnn Shevlin, a woman whose life radiated warmth, kindness, and an enduring love that touched the lives of those around her. LoriAnn peacefully departed this world on December 24th, 2023 surrounded by her children and husband, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Born on August 20th, 1970 to Steven Heaney and Denise Mascia, LoriAnn graced the world with her presence, filling each day with compassion, humor and joy.
LoriAnn was a loving wife to the love of her life Thomas Shevlin and a devoted mother to Nicole Slaven, Denise Sinatra and husband Helder, Danny Sinatra and wife Gina , Tommy Shevlin and Alana, Casey Shevlin and Anna, and Noah Shevlin. An adoring Grandmother to Kyla, Avery, Ava , Lily , Milo and Violet. A beloved sister to Steven Mascia, Anthony Heaney, Jeanine Crummell and husband Michael. A one of a kind Aunt to several nieces and nephews all whom she treated as her own children.
She dedicated her life to nurturing her family, creating a home where love and understanding flourished. I don’t think there are any words in the English dictionary to describe the love she radiated into this world. There was not one soul that wasn’t touched by her presence. Her unwavering support and boundless affection were the foundation upon which countless memories were built. She loved with every thing in her. She was EVERYTHING to ALL of her children. She was comfort in human form.
She enjoyed anything that involved her children and grandchildren, cooking, shopping, plants and making everything cozy and warm. She loved her candles, laundry detergent, fabric softeners, all her perfumes, she was the queen of smelling good! She loved her coffee, coffee runs every morning, or harassing one of her kids to go and get her one. If you traveled anywhere, you better have brought her a magnet back from your destination. She truly loved seeing people happy, and enjoying life. She was a God fearing, woman of faith.
LoriAnn’s kindness extended far beyond her immediate circle, as she became a source of comfort and encouragement to friends and acquaintances alike. Everyone’s therapist, or a warm shoulder to cry on. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her infectious laughter brought light to even the darkest days. A laughter we will never forget. Infectious warmth, an incomparable spirit.
As we mourn the loss of LoriAnn, we also celebrate the beauty of her spirit and the impact she had on all who were fortunate enough to love her and know her. Her legacy will endure through the love she shared and the countless lives she touched with her selflessness.
Services to honor LoriAnn’s life will be held on December 30th at 12PM- 5 PM
