Stanley "Bob" R. Pepsin, age 71, of Moosic, formerly of Old Forge, died Monday evening in the Hospice Unit at Mercy Hospital, Scranton. He and his wife, Marilyn Wickizer Pepsin, celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on September 27th.
Born on September 10, 1935 in Old Forge, he was the son of the late Stanley and Johanna Romey Pepsin. He was educated in the Old Forge schools. He was an Army veteran. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the Scranton-Lackawanna Human Development Agency in weatherization. He was a member of the Brick United Methodist Church, Duryea. He was also a member of Tri Acres Rod & Gun Club, Clifton.
He was a good husband, father, grandpa (Pa Pa) and loved his granddaughter.
He is also survived by his son, Stanley Pepsin, Jr. and his wife, Deborah, of Old Forge, his daughter, Rebecca Pepsin and her fiance, Ed Swida, Jr., of Hanover Twp., granddaughter, Ariane Pepsin, Old Forge, brother, Paul Pepsin of Old Forge, sister, Barbara Sokolowski of Old Forge, nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Thursday at 11:30 A.M. in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 N. Main Street, Old Forge, with services by Rev. Michael Shambora, Jr., Pastor of the Brick United Methodist Church, Duryea.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
