Andrew Mackie, age 91, a resident of Abington Manor, Clarks Summit, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton. His wife is Joyce Bliss Mackie.
Born on June 29, 1915 in Larkhall, Scotland, he was the son of the late Robert and Jean F. MacLuggage Mackie. He was educated in the Scotland schools.
Prior to retirement, he was employed by Haddon Craftsman.
He was a member of the former Greenridge Presbyterian Church. He was a Sunday school teacher for many years.
He is survived by his son, Peter Mackie of Hollywood, Fla., sister,
Jean Hazen of Buffalo, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Mackie.
Arrangements are under the care of the Durkan-Cuff-Kearney Funeral Home, 125 N. Main Avenue, West Scranton.
