Born in Dupont on January 22, 1929, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Alice (Ferris) Mello and Angelo Gengo. She was a graduate of West Scranton High School before getting married and starting her family.
Charlotte had a tireless work ethic. She was in business for over 50 years, many of those years alongside her husband. She was a founding member of the Lackawanna Tavern Association.
Never one to pass up a good casino trip, Charlotte always enjoyed traveling. Alongside her husband, the couple traveled everywhere from Las Vegas to Hawaii.
She will never be forgotten for her generosity, big heart and kind soul. She was unconditionally giving to a fault.
Charlotte was also a longtime member of Saint Ann Maronite Church in West Scranton.
She is survived by her loving family, including her children, Lois Cosentini of Ormond by the Sea, Florida, Anthony (Tony) Cosentini and wife Janet of Old Forge and Charlotte Cosentini of Scranton; grandchildren, Anthony, Christopher, Tony, Jr. and Mary; great grandchildren, Anthony, Jr., Samuel, Louis and Ruby; and nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Frank A. Gengo.
Her family wishes to acknowledge both Dr. Richard Weinberger and also the entire staff of Mountain View Care Center for the amazing care given to Charlotte throughout her illness.

Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge, with an 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at Saint Ann Maronite Church, 1320 Price Street in West Scranton, to be celebrated by Rev.
