Obituaries

Ronald Gorrick, age 76, and a lifelong Duryea resident, passed away Monday at Riverside Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Taylor, after an illness.
Born on February 16, 1946 and son of the late Bernard and Mary (Koziel) Gorrick, Ronald was educated at the former Duryea High School. Active in local politics upon retirement, he was well-known throughout the borough and will certainly be missed.
A funeral service by Rev. Michael Bryant with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Duryea will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.
