Raymond Noll, age 88, of Old Forge, died Thursday morning at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton. His wife is Helen Ragni Noll. They had celebrated their 52ndwedding anniversary on August 6th.
Born on February 11, 1918 in Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late Herbert and Ellen O’Keefe Noll. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York and was a graduate of the Brooklyn schools. In 1960, he retired from the U.S Army at Ft. Bliss, in El Paso, Texas. He was a 20 year Army Veteran, having served in WWII and the Korean Wars and was the receipient of numerous medals.

He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Old Forge. He was also a member of American Legion and VFW, both of Old Forge.

He is also survived by his Daughter-In-Law, Michele Noll of Moscow, sister, Eileen Bulcock of Bay Port, N.Y. , Sister-In-Law, Lillian Noll, Staten Island, N.Y., nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Raymond in 1999, and a brother, Herbert and a sister, Marion Turturro

The funeral will be Monday at 9:00 A.M. from the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 N. Main Street, Old Forge, with a mass of christian burial at 9:30 A.M. in St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, corner of Lawrence and West Grace Streets in Old Forge. Interment will be at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow.
Friends may call Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Military services will be conducted by the AMVETS Post #189 of Dupont.
