Kathleen Lane, age 65, of Old Forge, died Thursday afternoon at Mercy Hospital in Scranton. She was the wife of Frank "Tuggy" Lane. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Oct. 1, 2005.
Born on March 22, 1941 in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Mildred McGrath Williams. She was educated in the Old Forge schools. Prior to retirement, she was employed by the Jewish Home, Scranton. She was a member of St. Lawrence O’Toole Roman Catholic Church, Old Forge.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who cherished her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, golf fan, and enjoyed playing Bingo.

She is also survived by her two daughters, Patricia Muncie, Scranton, and Mary Ellen Greenfield, at home, two sons, Mark Lane, at home and Joseph Lane, Duryea, three brothers, Michael Williams, Washington, D.C., John Williams, Old Forge and Donald Williams of Taylor, two grandchildren Kayleigh Lane and Casey Greenfield, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Francis L. Williams and a sister, Jean Marie Kurtinitis.

The funeral will be Monday at 9:00 A.M. from the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 N. Main Street, Old Forge, with a mass of christian burial at 9:30 A.M. in St. Lawrence O’Toole Roman Catholic Church South Main St., Old Forge, to be celebrated by Rev. Robert P. Arnold, Pastor and Rev. Dr. Michael J. Kirwin, Ph.D., concelebrant. Interment will be at Marcy Cemetery in Duryea.
