Frank Flynn, age 64, of Scranton, died Monday morning from injuries he suffered in an automobile accident in Plains Twp.. His wife is MaryAnn Russin Flynn. They had celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on Sept. 19, 2005.
Born on February 20, 1942 in Scranton, he was the son of the late Francis "Whitey" and Catherine McGinty Flynn. He was a graduate of Holy Rosary High School, Scranton. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Fitchburg Coated Products, Scranton and LPS Industries. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Scranton.
He loved Notre Dame football, swimming with his granddaughter, being retired, his coffee klatch at Stange’s, early mornings, his garden and a good one liner.
He is also survived by his three daughters, Mari Flynn of Throop, Amy Flynn of Scranton, Jill Flynn Mahoney and her husband Kevin, of Clarks Summit, granddaughter, Emily Mahoney, two sisters, Eileen Saltry of Scranton, and Kay Price of Moosic, two brothers, William Flynn of Clarks Summit, and Robert Flynn of Scranton, nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30 A.M. from the Durkan-Cuff-Kearney Funeral Home, 125 North Main Avenue, West Scranton, with a mass of christian burial at 10:00 A.M. in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Taylor Avenue, Scranton, by Rev. Richard E. Fox, Pastor. Interment will be at Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton. Friends may call Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
