Obituaries

Edmund J. Weisenfluh, age 86, of Scranton, died Monday afternoon at home.
Born on March 26, 1920 in Scranton, he was the son of the late Henry and Kathleen Cusick Weisenfluh. He was a graduate of Scranton Tech High School. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Remington-Rand, Scranton. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, West Scranton, and was very active with the parish. He was also a member of the parishs’ Society of the Faithful. He was an avid bowler.

He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Colony of Clarks Summit, and brother, Robert Weisenfluh of Erie, two nieces, Cathy Decker and Barbara Colony and two nephews, Dr. Mark Weisenfluh and Robert Weisenfluh, Jr.. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry, Jr. and Donald.

The funeral will be Friday at 9:00 A.M. from the Durkan-Cuff-Kearney Funeral Home, 125 North Main Avenue, West Scranton, with a mass of christian burial at 9:30 A.M. in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church Jackson Street West Scranton, by Msgr. David L. Tressler, Pastor. Interment will be at Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton.
