Obituaries

Arlene J. Paff, age 76, of Taylor, died Friday morning at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton.
She was the widow of Donald Charles Paff, who died August 4, 2002.
Born on June 23, 1930 in Taylor, she was the daughter of the late William Russell and Catherine Jenkins Johns. She was a graduate of Taylor High School. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Glen Market, Moosic and prior to that for the ACME Markets in the area. She was a member of the United Baptist Church, Taylor.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

She is survived by a son, Donald W. Paff at home, two daughters, Debra A. Connolly and her husband Brian, of Avoca, and Lynn A. Gatto of Taylor, a sister, Catherine Graziano of Taylor, two brothers, Dave Johns of Moosic, and Bruce Johns of Binghamton, NY, Eight grandchildren and One great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 N. Main Street, Old Forge, with services by Rev. Dr. David W. Erickson, Pastor of the United Baptist Church, Taylor. Interment will be at Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton.
