Jean Stein, age 73, of Scranton, died Tuesday afternoon.
Born on December 28, 1931 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late William and Maude Vandermark Stein. She was educated in Scranton schools.
She is survived by her niece Marlene Badyrka, Scranton, and nephews Frank and John Lutz, both of Scranton.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Joan Lutz, brother, Bruce Stein, and sisters, Doris, Dorothy, and Ruth Stein.

There will be no viewing. Interment will be in Dunmore Cemetery, Dunmore.
Arrangements are under the care of the Durkan-Cuff-Kearney Funeral Home, 125 N. Main Avenue, West Scranton.
