Obituaries

Lynn Hennigan, age 47, a lifelong resident of Moosic, passed away Friday at home.
Born on August 15, 1967, daughter of the late Leo, Sr., and Lois Marley Hennigan, Lynn graduated from Riverside High School, Class of 1985, before earning a degree in Social Science from Manor Junior College, Jenkinstown. Of Roman Catholic faith, she was a longtime member of Queen of the Apostle’s Parish in Avoca. She enjoyed both trips to the casino and spending time with her family, as her sister and nephews meant the world to her. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
She is survived by her loving sister, Lori Brady and husband Charles of Turnersville, New Jersey; and her four adoring nephews, Leo Hennigan, III, of Moosic; Charles, Ryan and Matthew Brady, all of Turnersville.
A brother, Leo Hennigan, Jr., also preceded her in death.
A private Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Saturday, Lynn’s 48th birthday, at St. Mary’s Church, Queen of the Apostle’s Parish in Avoca, to be celebrated by Rev. Phil Sladicka, Pastor. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
