I had just found out this morning that Mr. Butcher had passed. What a great, genuine man, I had the pleasure of knowing and taking care of.Heaven gained another angel. Prayers to his family to find peace and comfort.

Lorraine, beloved wife of dear Edward: A drummer with local bands? Yes, and one of the best. He played drums as a kid even before he played in my polka band with John Dorin and later with Joe Gnall and Frank Killino. In old Taylor High we played in the high school band together at many football games. And at the old Rocky Glen Park, we won the talent show at the lake and won a trip to the Ted Mack Original Amateur hour but never went because Pet Milk dropped it's sponsorship. What wonderful times we had together, what wonderful memories we have of his talent and friendship. God bless his entire family as I remember him at Divine Liturgy this Sunday. May his memory be eternal!
