Obituaries

Lawrence E. Francis, age 55, of Kingston, died Tuesday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. A Philadelphia native, he lived locally for several years. Prior to his illnes, he was Honorably Discharged from the United States Army.
He is survived by his sister, Lestina Kemp, of Swainsboro, GA.
Interment, alongside his parents, will be in Swainsboro City Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.
