Amber V. Laniewski, age 25, of New York, New York, died unexpectedly on Saturday morning, November 22nd. Beloved daughter of Clement (Butch) and Lisa Coyne Laniewski of Englewood, Florida, Amber was born in Bayreuth, Germany, on September 7, 1989, and raised in Texas, Belgium and most recently Englewood. A graduate of Lemon Bay High School, Class of 2008, Amber served as President of the National Honor Society and was an integral member of her high school’s Model United Nations team. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Florida, while being very active in the Gator Community. She currently worked as an associate buyer for Macy’s Corporate Office in New York. She loved crafting, especially
for her family, and she had a passion for classic rock music, Hillsong Church, Scrabble, Dateline, SNL and expensive Starbucks coffee drinks. An adoring daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, spending time with those she loved meant the world to her. She will be forever missed.
She is also survived by her adoring brother, Zachary Laniewski, a junior at the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland; a maternal grandmother, Patricia Coyne of Old Forge; paternal grandparents, Clement and Joanne Laniewski of Taylor; and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Her young cousins meant more than anything to her.
Her maternal grandfather, Thomas F. Coyne, preceded her in death in 1995.
Private service arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street in Old Forge.
