Obituaries

Kathleen Kiff Costa, LPN, of Scranton and formerly of Taylor, died at home on Wednesday morning. She was the window of the late Frank F. Costa who died in 1980. Born in Taylor, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mathilda Clements Kiff. A graduate of the former Taylor High School, Class of 1944, she was a Licensed Practical Nurse having graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing. She retired from the Community Medical Center.
She is survived by her son, Frank J. Costa of Bangor; her sister, Clarita Kiff of Old Forge; nieces and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, SFC James G. Kiff, retired.
A Blessing Service to be conducted by Rev. Francis L. Pauselli, Pastor of Divine Mercy Parish in Scranton, is scheduled for Saturday at 11:00AM in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.
Entombment will follow at the Cathedral Cemetery Mausoleum in Scranton.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 9:00AM until services at the funeral home.
