Edna (Myers) Barrett, age 78, a resident of the Green Ridge Nursing Home in Scranton, died Sunday at the home.She was the widow of Thomas Barrett who died April 1974.
Born in Scranton on October 29, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Dora Hannah Myers. She was educated in Scranton Schools.
She is survived by her one daughter, Joanne Bryngelson of, Milwaukie, Ore. and three grandchildren, Thomas Neufeldt, Corissa Hendrix, and Laura Bryngelson Martin.
She was preceded in death by a brother James Myers.
Graveside services will be held on
Wednesday at 1:30 P.M. in St. Catherines Cemetery in Moscow by Monsignor David L. Tressler, Pastor of St. Patrick’s Parish, West Scranton.
Arrangements are under the care of the Durkan-Cuff-Kearney Funeral Home, 125 N. Main Avenue, West Scranton.
