Raymond “Tacks” G. Howell, age 65, a resident of Highland Manor in Exeter and formerly of Taylor passed away on Monday morning. Born on September 4, 1947, son of the late Archie, Sr., and Anna Race Howell, Raymond was a graduate of the former Taylor High School. Prior to his illness, he worked as a cab driver.
Surviving is his brother, Harold Howell, and wife Ann of Old Forge.
Brothers, Archie, Jr., and Robert Howell also preceded him in death.
Private arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park in Elmhurst.
