Obituaries

Leontine (Dolly) Stacknick Reese, R.N., 77, died January 19, 2013, in Alexandria, Virginia, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Reese.
Born in Taylor, daughter of the late Roman Stacknick and the late Julia Argonish Stacknick, Dolly was a 1952 graduate of Taylor High School and a 1955 graduate of the Wyoming Valley Hospital, School of Nursing.
As a registered nurse, she was employed as a post anesthesia recovery nurse manager for Moses Taylor Hospital. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
While living in Virginia, she continued to use her nursing skills to help people and spent nearly two decades as a pre-school teacher at the St. Clement Episcopal School.
Surviving are a son, Gary Reese, Alexandria, Virginia; daughter-in-law Ann Reese; grandchildren, Robert and Trish Reese; brothers, John Stacknick and Raymond Stacknick; and sister, Barbara Caccatore.
Funeral services were held at the St. Clement Episcopal Church, Alexandria, VA. Blessing services to be conducted by Rev. Francis L. Pauselli are scheduled for Friday at 1:00PM in the Fairview Memorial Park Chapel, Elmhurst.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes that memorial contributions be made to the St Clement Episcopal School, 1701 North Quaker Lane, Alexandria, VA 22302.
