What an amazing tribute last night for Ted Armillay! I was very honored to have him as a mentor when I student taught in 1999 at Old Forge Elementary School. He brought integrity to Health and Physical Education and lead by example in more ways than one. There are 5 core values here at Marywood University that we live by including Catholic Identity, Respect, Empowerment, Service, and Excellence. The first day I walked into that gymnasium and met Ted Armillay (my cooperating teacher) I knew he had these values and knew that he would be mentoring me in a way that no other teacher could do better. He simply paved the way for life after school. Now that I am married with two beautiful children I can look back and thank him for everything. I appreciate the simple things in life more than anything. Hug your family! Ted Armillay will continue to live in everyone that new him. I said "God, where are they now?" And God said, "Mine is on my right, and yours is in the light."
