Obituaries

Patricia J. Cantelmo, 52 years old, passed away Thursday at home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Philip Cantelmo. Born on March 19, 1960 , daughter of Joyce McCaffery and the late Hugh McCaffery, Patricia most recently worked as a housekeeper for the Regional Hospital of Scranton for 15 years. Of Catholic faith, she was a member of St. Patricks Church Parish, West Scranton. A hard worker whose life revolved around her family, she enjoyed trips to Seaside Heights with her husband and children. May she rest in peace. She will be dearly missed.
Also surviving are her five children, Philip and fiance Holly O’Dell, Sean, Diana , Jimmy and Theresa Cantelmo, all of Scranton; three siblings, Michael, Thomas and Debbie McCaffery; and five grandchildren.
Blessing services to be conducted by Rev. Martin Boylan are scheduled for Friday at noon in the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue in West Scranton. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park in Elmhurst.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 10:00AM-Noon at the funeral home.
