Kim Smith, age 48, of Taylor, died tragically on Saturday due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident. She is survived by her beloved husband, Duane Smith. The couple was planning on celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary next month. Born in Scranton on August 8, 1963, daughter of Leonard Webb of Avoca and the late Audrey Wiltshire Webb, Kim was a graduate of Riverside High School, Class of 1980. She had previously worked for the Dunmore Health Care Center.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael Smith and fiance Danniell Williams of Moosic and Eric Smith and fiance Brittany Fenner of Taylor; her four sisters, Cindy Petroshuk and husband Robert of Scranton, Bonnie Miles and husband Brian of West Pittston, Debra Rozaieski and husband Frank of Old Forge and Penny Kane and husband Joe of Moosic; her brother, Leonard Webb and wife Debbie of Louisianna; Mandy and Lisa Fenner, who she considered to be her own daughters; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Sean Smith.
Private funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.
