Margaret J. “Peggy” Major, 68, of Taylor, died Monday, October 7th, at home after an illness.
A loving sister, God Mother, aunt and great aunt, Peggy was loved dearly and will be sadly missed. Strong-willed, Peggy left a lasting impression on those who knew her. She was tiny in stature; however, her personality was huge. Those who knew her best will treasure memories of family vacations to Canada, trips to Shadowbrook for ice cream, and family parties and holidays spent together. Surviving are: brother Donald Major, Taylor, two sisters Susan Kemmerer and husband Charles, East Stroudsburg, Mary Neureuter and husband Joseph, Taylor, and sister-in-law Mary Major, Scranton. Nieces, Mariesa , Kelly and husband Frank, Harmony, and husband Pat, Tiffany and husband John, Christine, and Amber, and husband Rich. Nephews Bert, and wife Lisa, and Cory, and their families. Brother, James Major, sister, Theresa Major Klinkel, and great nephew Mason preceded her in death. Private interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton with her Mom and Sister.
