Margaret “Peggy” Brojakowski, a beacon of resilience and a heart brimming with love, has embarked on her final journey, leaving behind a legacy woven with the threads of joy, care, and an indomitable spirit. Her life, a tapestry of rich experiences was shared generously with all who knew her.
A trooper in every sense, Peggy’s hands, ever so skillful, transformed simple fabric into beautiful drapes that adorned her windows, a testament to her crafty hobbies. Her culinary prowess was unmatched, from canning tomato jam to crafting perfect pierogies and potato pancakes each dish a page from her cherished Polish heritage.
Roots in Faith, and family raised, in the warmth of a Polish Catholic home, Peggy’s life was a reflection of her grandmother Mrs. Parchinski’s faithfulness. The backyard grapes, the best in the neighborhood, were not just fruit but memories that Peggy helped cultivate, memories that filled stomachs and hearts with delight.
A life of service and love and a proud graduate of Wilkes-Barre Township High School, Peggy’s journey took her from the diligent corridors of secretarial work to the noble path of nursing where she earned her LPN degree.
The heart of her home, Peggy’s world was her family, her children, her beloved pets and the laughter filled gatherings around picnics and BBQ’s.
Bingo nights, card games, and the innocent giggles of her grandchildren were the melodies that played in the background of her life.
A legacy of love , her nieces and nephews close to her heart and all her loved ones knew the depth of Peggy’s affection. Her life, a blend of happiness and hardship, was lived with grace and courage. Today pray for her peaceful passage to the divine embassy where she rests, a well deserved respite in the arms of God.
Peggy’s story does not end here, it continues in our memories, in the lessons she imparted, and in the love that binds us all. An extension of ourselves, Peggy now resides in glory among the stars where our other loved ones await us.
May this memorial serve as a bridge between the past and the present, a reminder that , though Peggy has departed from our sight , her spirit remains an eternal flame in our hearts. May you find comfort in these words and may Peggy’s memory be a blessing to all.
