Victor Ernest Griffin, age 55, of Scranton, passed away Sunday, April 16,2023 at the age of 55. Born on March 21, 1968, he was the youngest of seven siblings. He is predeceased by his parents Ernest and Mary Wasko Griffin. He is survived by his only son, Timothy Griffin and wife Nicole Griffin, his brothers, John and wife Tina, Ernest and wife Annette, Michael, David, and his two sisters, Mary and Roseann, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Victor grew up in Scranton, PA. He attended Saint Stanislaus school where he was an altar boy. As an adult he worked at Atlantic Veal and Lamb in Olyphant, PA. He would often help his family and friends doing home repairs and yard work.
Victor is remembered by family and friends as a kind and gentle soul who cared deeply for those close to him. He had a unique sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with those he loved. He was a dedicated worker and enjoyed working with his hand. He loved listening to the radio , playing cards, and being outside.
A Memorial Communion service will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Griffin family asks that if you know anyone struggling with domestic abuse or suicide to please reach out to that person, lend a word of support , or open your arms to hold them close.
