Edith Radle, age 68, of Moosic, passed away Monday morning at home, after a recent illness. She was preceded in death on November 4, 2009, by her beloved husband of 41 years, George Radle, Jr.
Born in Pittston on March 28, 1948, and daughter of the late Daniel and Edythe Thomas Nenish, Edith was educated at Pittston High School.
For over 25 years she worked at Brooks Manufacturing Company, where she had met her husband. She then worked as a pharmacy technician at Neighbor Care and eventually Omni Care, both of Scranton, prior to her retirement. An avid gardener, she took great pride in her home’s garden. Passing away peacefully, she will be forever missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Radle of Moosic; her granddaughter, Kayla Marie Connolly of Hanover Twp.; her siblings, Robert Nenish of Scranton, Margaret Tomaselli of Pittston and Theresa Pachucki of Plains; and many nieces and nephews.
A daughter, Georgeanne Radle; and siblings, David, John, Paul, John, Daniel and Donna Nenish, Patricia Hayes and Phyllis Muha, also preceded her in death.
Her family would like to thank Dr. Armando Sallavanti for his years of tremendous care.
Blessing services and interment at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Twp., were private under the arrangements of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.
