Daniel C. Spangenberg

Daniel (Danny) C. Spangenberg, age 54, a resident of Kingston Commons, died Thursday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Son of the former Regina Swingle and Hawley Spangenberg, Danny worked for Colarusso’s Restaurant in Avoca, prior to illness. Undoubtedly missed by all, he will long be remembered for his work ethic, big heart and love for family.
He is survived by his brother, Alvin; nieces and nephews, especially Tammy; and his companion, Rose Hedglin. His brother Jim preceded him in death on February 13th.
His family wishes to thank the entire staff of Kingston Commons for the amazing care given to Danny throughout his stay.
Pending memorial services under the care of the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton, will be announced at an upcoming date.
