Patricia M. Carr, 86, of Clarks Summit, passed away Thursday at home.  Her husband of 65 years was John Carr, who preceded her on November 10, 2022.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late William Patrick and Lillian Rose Osborne Rogan, Patricia was a graduate of Scranton High School.  An active member of St. Thomas Moore Parish, North Scranton, Patricia was a member of St. Peter’s Cathedral of Scranton Choir and the Scranton Catholic Chorale Club.

A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Patricia treasured spending time with her grandchildren and going out with friends.  Singing, gardening, traveling, and reading were some of her personal enjoyments, when she wasn’t attending services at her church.  Now at peace with her Lord, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.

Surviving are her loving son, John Carr Jr.,  and his wife, Cecilia, Clarks Summit; the apples of her eye, her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Nicholas, and Nathan; a beloved brother, William Thomas Rogan, Ackworth, NH; and several nieces and nephews.

Her son, Timothy Carr, and siblings, Nancy Wasko and Joe Rogan, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Saturday June 20th at  2pm in St. Thomas More Parish, corner of North Main Avenue and Theodore Street, Scranton, with Rev. Michael Wurtz, officiating.  Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects on  Saturday June 20th from  1pm until the time of the mass in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to  woundedwarriorproject.org.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 N. Main Avenue, Scranton.
