Frank J. Pagnotti, 69, Tunkhannock, passed away Thursday, June 4th at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore, after an extended illness. He was the husband of Karen (Brody) Pagnotti.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Frank and Rita (Chermak) Pagnotti, he was a 1975 graduate of Scranton Technical High School.

Frank was employed as an automotive adjuster for Aetna insurance company prior to his retirement. He also worked in numerous local garages as an auto body technician and mechanic earlier in life.

Frank was a proud Papa, Father and Husband. He was selfless, dependable, and fiercely loyal to those he loved. He overcame numerous health challenges dating back almost 40 years due to his toughness and resiliency.

Frank enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, vacationing at the beach, hunting, fishing, boating, gardening, his koi pond, lawn care, cars and traveling. He was an avid New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He created great memories sitting in the Legends Suites at Yankee Stadium.

In addition to his wife, also surviving are sons Frank Pagnotti and wife Jennifer, Clarks Green; Scott Pagnotti and wife Kathryn, Dunmore; and Marc Pagnotti, Dunmore; stepchildren, Jensen Healey and wife Abbey, Tunkhannock; and Natalia Healey, Tunkhannock; grandchildren, Dylan, Luke, Blake, Hayden and Hudson; aunts and cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled to begin on Friday at 9:00 AM from the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 N. Main St., Old Forge, with a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul’s Church, 1510 Penn Ave., Scranton. Entombment will follow at the Cathedral Cemetery Mausoleum.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday at the funeral home between 4 – 7:00 PM.
