Obituaries

Joann Marie Sidarovich, 61, of Scranton, passed Sunday September 7, 2025 at home.  

Born June 8, 1964 in Scranton, daughter of the late Joseph Thomas and Evelyn Margaret Tumavitch Lampman, Joann was a graduate of Dunmore High School. 

Although she lived a quiet and private life, Joann had a generous spirit and was always willing to help.  She loved her family fiercely, found comfort in the company of her beloved cats and lived life on her own terms.  A diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, she enjoyed puzzles and Scooby Doo.  Despite life’s challenges, she now rests in the peace she so deeply deserved.  Joann will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Surviving are her daughter, Ashley Houlihan, and husband, Paul, III, Thornhurst; her son, Steven Sidarovich, Scranton; sister, Patty Savage and husband Bill, Factoryville; brothers, John Lampman, Scranton, Jeff Lampman and wife Cheryl, Michigan; and several nephews.

A brother, Paul Lampman, and her “furever” faithful friend, Pepper, preceded her in death.

Private arrangements with inurnment in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton are under the care of the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, 125 N. Main Ave., Scranton.
