Linda (Olivieri) Pagnotti, a longtime resident of Old Forge, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday. She was 56 years young.

Born in Pittston on November 23, 1968, and daughter of the late Joseph, Sr., and Elizabeth (Ribaudo) Olivieri, Linda was a 1986 graduate of Pittston Area High School. She then took on her greatest role in life – as a mom – raising her adored son and daughter. Later in life, she also worked as a server for V.F.W. Post #4954 in Old Forge and a holiday fixture working for Komensky’s Market in Duryea for Judy and Don Wasta, bringing constant fun, joy and laughter.

Linda will forever be remembered in so many ways. The absolute life of any party, she had an innate ability to make those around her smile. She found great joy in music, often dancing the night away and cherishing the company of friends. An animal lover, she will be missed by her pups and cats, “Vinny”, “Ruby”, “Willow” and “Nina.” She had a connection to grandchildren – both her own and those in the neighborhood – giving her the endearing name, “Grandma Linda.” She undoubtedly put the needs of others before herself.

Above all else came her family whom she loved wholeheartedly. Taken much too soon from her loved ones, she will never be forgotten!

She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Brittany Rhodes and husband Adam of Taylor; her grandchildren, Natalie, A.J., Harper and Naomi; her siblings, Debbie Gilchrist and fiance Leon Feduchak of Pittston, David Olivieri and companion Darlene Coffee of Fl., and Richard Olivieri of Old Forge; her former husband and dear friend, Victor Pagnotti of Old Forge; step-children, Victor Pagnotti, IV, and wife Brittany of Old Forge and Amber McKenna of Wyoming; Victor’s grandchildren whom Linda considered her own, Natalie, Victor, V, Emma, Olivia and Lincoln; and many nieces and nephews.

Her beloved son, Jeffrey Hudak, preceded her in death on September 19, 2019.

A celebration of Linda’s life is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28th, at 6:00 PM at the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 N. Main St., Old Forge. Family and friends may pay their respects from 4:00 PM until services.
