Born December 19, 1986, in Scranton, son of Kathleen (Manning) Koytek and the late Ronald M. Koytek, Ronald was a 2005 graduate of Pittston Area, where he excelled in Math and Science competitions.  From Mathletes to Science Olympiads, Ron participated, and won, just about every competition he entered.  His outstanding abilities led him to Rochester Institute of Technology for 2 years, but his love of cars drew him to Automotive at Johnson College, where he graduated with High Honors.  Ron worked for Feel Good Motors, Olyphant, and prior to his passing, Ron was employed for 15 years with Stadium International, now Allegiance Trucks, Olyphant, as a Diesel Technician and Service Advisor.  Growing up, Ron was a member of Duryea Cub Scout Pack 375 and Duryea Boy Scout Troop 285.
A loving son, brother, and uncle, Ron’s passion in life was spoiling his nieces and nephews.  “Christmas with Ron” was unlike any other.  Ron had a heart of gold and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his brothers, Andrew Koytek, and wife, Ashley, Duryea, Christopher Koytek, and wife, Stephany, Scranton, and Joseph Koytek, Duryea; his pride and joy, his nieces and nephews, Lainey and Anderson Koytek, Jeremiah Rios, and Sophia and Skylee Koytek.
