Barbara Vitaletti Hall, 82, of Dickson City passed away peacefully on November 21st, 2024. Her husband of 62 years is Arthur R. Hall, Jr. The couple were wed on July 27, 1963. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Caroline Brunori Vitaletti.

Barbara’s life centered around family and friends. Her generosity and listening skills were known to all. She was happiest sitting on her patio or by the pool, surrounded by her loved ones, engaged in conversation. Barbara also had a knack for modern technology, and used it to find the best personalized gifts and to follow every family member on social media.

Barbara enjoyed annual trips to Newport, Rhode Island with the whole family, children and grandchildren, for over forty years. Barbara also enjoyed driving the entire way to Delray Beach, Florida with Art for a few weeks in the winter.

Along with Art, Barbara is also survived by her three children: Dawn Karam and husband Gerard of Dickson City, Arthur Hall, III and wife Lynn of Dickson City, and Jennifer Hall and Matt Rowley of Boston, Massachusetts; eight beloved grandchildren: Camille, Francis, and Alexander Karam; Arthur IV, Benjamin and Caroline Hall; Amelia and Miles Rowley; her brother, Rick Vitaletti; and many close cousins and nieces and nephews. Barbara was also preceded in death by a brother, Anthony “Butch” Vitaletti.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Church, 1510 Penn Ave., Scranton, to be celebrated by Msgr. Neil J. Van Loon, Pastor. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects at the church on Monday from 9:00 AM until Mass. Those wishing to attend the funeral are asked to go directly to the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara’s name to Adopt A Boxer Rescue c/o P.O. Box 154 Olyphant, PA, 18447.
