Grace Louise Fiedtkou, 87, a resident of Brampton, Ontario and also of Guyana, died peacefully at the home of her daughter in Scranton. Grace was the loving wife of the late Pastor David Albert Arthur Fiedtkou, who died in December 2020.
Born December 16, 1936 in Bartica, Guyana, daughter of the late Arthur and Hilda Powley Seon, Grace graduated many certification classes in Guyana schools, making her very skilled in many arts and crafts. Grace was also a graduate of AOG Bible school. Learning and developing was her passion in life.
Grace was a most beautiful soul who was truly loved by all. A dedicated Christian woman, and in service for Christ her Lord and Savior, Grace loved God and upheld His Word and principles. Teaching, preaching, sharing, and always giving! Grace was a remarkable person and woman, and it was her nature to stand up for what she believed in. Her children blessed and adored her so much. Grace has taken flight and earned her wings, and she will be sincerely missed. Words cannot express the void now that she has moved on to a higher place.
Surviving are her children, Paula Wilson, Scranton, PA, Rosabel Fiedtkou, Abrams,NY., Sarah Archibald, Julian Fiedtkou, and Oral Fiedtkou, all of Georgetown, Guyana; grandchildren, Peter, Roslyn, Grace Lyn, Justin, Matthew, Melodie, Tiffany, Grace Diane, Jessica, and Samuel; Great grandchildren, Marcus, Trevon, Xavier, Justin, Ziva, Jewel, Yoshiko, and Chaya; Brother, Stephen Seon; nieces, Susan, Dawn, Sharon, Nadine, and many others; nephews, Ron, Mark, Duane, and many more.
Her children, Roseanne Stephens and David Samuel Fiedtkou, siblings, Beulah and John , and a nephew, Carl, preceded her in death.
A Private service will be held at the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 N. Main Ave., Scranton. Interment will be next to her husband in Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, Ajax, Ontario, Canada.
