Patricia Ann Clark of Ocean City, Maryland, passed away at home on Thursday following an illness. She was 79 years old.
Born on July 27, 1944, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Jule (Walsh) Clark. A graduate of Yorktown High School, Patricia next earned her bachelor’s degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. She was a longtime employee of the U.S. Federal Government, retiring in 2005 as an analyst.
Patricia had countless hobbies. She loved playing cards, especially bridge and canasta, and she never missed an opportunity to go bowling. A selfless and kind soul, she was a longtime volunteer, either at her local fire house or at her church.
Now at peace, she will forever be missed by her loved ones.
She is survived by her loving siblings, Stephen Clark, of Centerville, Va.; and Maureen Dalton and Judy Parris, both of Suwanee, Ga.; and many nieces and nephews.
Blessing services to be celebrated by the Rev. Paul McDonnell are scheduled for Friday at 11 a.m. at the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home Inc., 517 N. Main St., Old Forge, with burial to follow at the Cathedral Cemetery in West Scranton.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until services.
