Obituaries

James Michael O’Neil, age 72 and recently of Tobyhanna, passed away Friday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Born on January 3,1951 and raised in West Scranton, James was the son of the late James F. and Leah (Smith) O’Neil. A graduate of West Side High School, Class of 1968, he proudly served in the U.S. Army before working at the Tobyhanna Army Depot for 30 years prior to his retirement. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Susan Marie Vosburg of Old Forge and James Michael O’Neil of Scranton; grandchildren, Christian Vosburg, Alexander, and Angelina O’Neil; siblings, Dennis O’Neil and Marion of Bethlehem, Terrance O’Neil and Diane of Lakeland, Florida and Janet O’Neil Dougherty of Belmont, New York; several nieces, a nephew, and grand nieces and grand nephews.
